The spy thriller action film, Ek Tha Tiger is another successful Eid release of Salman Khan. It earned over Rs. 180 crores in its lifetime and also did a huge business in the overseas. Because of the success of Ek Tha Tiger, its sequel Tiger Zinda Hai came into the picture in 2017 and broke many records at the box office. Ek Tha Tiger is one of the highest grosser films of Salman Khan.
Bodyguard showed Salman Khan in a new avatar and he played the character of a dedicated bodyguard, “Lovely Singh”. The emotional romantic story of the film impressed the audience and attracted them to the theatres.
